Aching Shoulders
Aching shoulders are often a symptom of tension. Whilst sitting at a desk or driving a car, how often do you find you have hunched your shoulders? How often do you then find you're getting a headache? Simply moving and stretching will help allieviate the symptoms of aching shoulders.
The main muscles involved are the trapezius and levator scapula and can be stretched quite readily. A simple passive stretch which will help is to look away from the aching shoulder, tuck your chin in and try and pull the aching shoulder down as far as possible. Then hold this for 10 seconds to lock the stretch into memory.
