On a warm Sunday morning on 25th June a number of teams from the media met at Bisham Abbey to raise money for the Fiona McDiarmid Fund which raises money for breast cancer charities and to support the Fiona McDiarmid Bursary for a media student at the University of Westminster who is in need of financial support. The fund is named after Fiona McDiarmid who was a very popular Sky News presenter who died of breast cancer. Her husband Jim Hunter who helps run the fund will be there on the day along with the boss of Sky News, Nick Pollard, who runs the event.

The team of Westminster University students and staff numbers is called Young Free and Available.    Racing took place between 9.30am and 3.30pm (just in time to watch the England match!)

Chiltern Therapies went along to provide massage for aching arms and backs for “Young, Free and Available”.  The 17 strong team raised an amazing £1748.75 for the charity and improved their position on their finish last year.  Overall somewhere over £20k was raised.  Well done to all involved.
